When I found these tray cloths and knew exactly what I was going to use them for - lavender bags.
I collected the lavender from a friends lavender hedge bordering her front path, and dried it over the winter.

Lavender bags made using vintage embroidered tray cloths.
This style uses embroidered blue asters and is backed with handmade patchwork in coordinating colours.
Each bag has a 7cm blue and white gingham hanging ribbon loop, so they can be hung in your wardrobe, around a hanger, or just popped into a drawer.
Simply crush the lavender to release its wonderful scent.
The lavender is grown here Suffolk, and is dried by myself.
The blue aster bag measures 13cm X 13cm approx
