I wanted to design something for the Summer and what better than a bright seaside cushion.

1-100 gram ball in Mid Blue (Yarn 2)
1-100 gram ball in Light Blue (Yarn 3)
1-25 gram ball Orange
1-25 gram ball White
1-25 gram ball Yellow

1-100 gram ball Hayfield Bonus DK – Sapphire 827 (Yarn 1)
1-100 gram ball Hayfield Bonus DK – Bluebell 969 (Yarn 2)
1-100 gram ball Hayfield Bonus DK – Powder Blue 960 (Yarn 3)
1-25 gram ball King Cole Dollymix DK – White (001)
1-25 gram ball King Cole Dollymix DK – Acid (038)

1 pair of 4 mm (UK8 - USA6) and 1 pair of 3.25 mm (UK10 - USA3) knitting needles. 4 buttons
Tension
22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 cm (4 in) over stocking stitch on 4 mm needles
The cushion is knitted in one piece. The back has a button opening and features 3 colour stripes.
If you already have DK yarns (8 ply) in similar colours they could be used as long as they match the gauge 22 sts and 28 rows to 4" (10 cm) over stocking stitch
