I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.
I have had a desire to create pictures with glass since first working with stained glass. Now I have my glass fusing kiln I can. I hope you like my flower pictures.
This picture really is a fusion of my stained and fused glass as the daffodil is cut from my stained glass daffodil pattern !

Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
This is a flower picture, a wall or window hanging.
Sandwiched between two layers of clear glass, I've placed 3 pretty little copper dragonflies and I've added a hint of colour, blue and green, using powdered frit to suggest blue sky and grass.
On top of the clear glass I've formed a bright red flower, a dahlia I think with 5 bright red petals and bright green leaves. In the centre of the petals I've placed a colourful nugget topped with shiny dichroic glass and scattered more little prices of dichroic glass round the flower to twinkle among the other colours.
I've surrounded the base of the flower with a generous scattering of glass fit in different colours so the flower appears to be growing in a pretty garden.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
This picture measures 10.5 x 13.5 cm and comes ready to hang from little copper wire hooks strung with bright red ribbon.
It will be sent smothered in bubble wrap in my rather innovative (takeaway) packaging which can be used as a gift box and also keeps it very safe for postage.
A super gift for Valentine's or Mother's Day.
