Full description
These small ear studs have been designed and made by us in our workshop in Yorkshire. They are made from sterling silver and 24ct gold and the technique used is an ancient Korean one, where silver and gold are fused together at a high temperature. The silver has been oxidised so that it contrasts dramatically with the gold. Letters and symbols have been punched into the silver by hand to create an interesting surface pattern. These cute ear studs measure 8mm in diameter and the posts and ear backs are made from sterling silver.
These Keum boo ear studs have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions and our own website. We also feature on the U.K. Crafts Council directory of makers.
