After visiting the Northumbrian coast for a number of years I finally overcame my minor fear of actually sailing on the North Sea and visited The Farne Islands during the breeding season. I had been commissioned to produce a puffin design and so I apprehensively embarked on the journey one beautiful spring day to find an impressive colony of these cheeky birds. With their vibrant coloured bills and comical manner I was captivated.
Many photographs later these designs are the result.

Full description
This beautiful handmade glasses case is made from a Linen Look Cotton fabric. The case is lined in soft cotton and padded to give your glasses some protection and has a loop and button fastening.
The design is made using the Freehand Machine Embroidery technique which involves “drawing” in thread, using the needle as your pencil, on a basic sewing machine. The resulting picture is therefore unique and no two pieces will be the same.
The Case measures approximately 9cm x 16cm.
