I have made silk bowls for some time, some for sale on Folksy and had made a few sheets of paper. I was invited to demonstrate this process at the Millennium Gallery Sheffield to celebrate their Year of Makers, which inspired me to create more paper and use it in my mixed media art.
I also thought embroiderers and mixed media artists might like to experiment with the paper.

Full description
A sheet of silk paper, that feels much more like a fabric and is made using a by product of the silk industry.
The one offered here in red has threads that have a sheen on them, will not fray and can be cut or embroidered on. Best kept dry, though can safely be pasted with PVA glue or a CMC paste It is a brighter red than the camera captured.
It measures 25 cm x 21 cm.
The photos show the other colours I have made for your information only, the yellow with orange is now sold.
