Full description
This sewing kit I have made using a nice beige spectacle case and I managed to find a gread sewing themed fabric to match for the covering the lid and making the sewing accessories. It has a pouch in the lid section containing a folding pair of scissors and a quick unpick. In the bottom section I have made a thimble holder (with thimble),pin cushion (with pins) retractable tape measure and needle case. The needle case (containing 6 assorted needles) has a little pouch at the back housing a needle threader and fastens with a snap. Both the needle case and the pin cushion have velcro on the back andcan therefore be removed from the case.
The case measures 7 cm ( 3" ) from front to back x 17 cm ( 6 3/4") long and 4 cm (1 1/2") high . A handy little sewing kit - great to pop in a bag for travelling too.
