Full description
This sewing kit I have made using a lovely lilac spectacle case and I managed to find a great sewing themed fabric to match for covering the lid and making the sewing accessories. It has a pouch in the lid section containing a folding pair of scissors and a quick unpick. In the bottom section I have made a thimble holder, (with thimble) pin cushion (with pins), retractable tape measure and needle case. The needle case (containing 6 assorted needles) has a little pouch at the back containing a needle threader and fastens with a snap. Both the needle case and the pin cushion have velcro on the back and can therefore can be removed from the case.
The case measures 7 cm (3") from front to back x 17cm (6 3/4") long and 4cm 1 1/2" deep. A handy little sewing kit - great to pop in a bag for travelling too.
