A 100% alpaca crochet shawl in a modern, neutral, soft grey.
This soft and squishy shawl has been crocheted with my favourite 100% alpaca luxury yarn. The alpaca shawl is silky soft to the touch and it's deliciously warm and cosy too as alpaca fibre is even warmer than sheep's wool.
The great thing about this shawl is that it can be worn in multiple ways, for example, as a scarf around your neck, draped around your shoulders or more traditionally as a shawl over your back and and arms. I love to wear this style over a coat, wrapped around my neck while out and about, then wrapped around my shoulders for extra warmth while sitting, enjoying the autumn colours outdoors or when it gets a bit chilly indoors.
Photo two shows the full size of this alpaca shawl which measures 142cm across and 72cm long to the point. The soft shawl is plenty big enough to wrap around your shoulders and cover your upper arms as can be seen in photos 3 and 5. This means you wont have to keep holding onto it so you can keep your hands free to move while keeping snug at the same time. It would be a perfectly elegant accessory for a wedding. It would be an ideal shawl for a bride to drape over her dress or for a member of the wedding party.
The colour is a cool light grey.
I recommend a spot clean or a gentle hand wash and lay flat to dry.
This beautiful shawl was made from the victoria shawl pattern designed by Sandra Paul of Cherry Heart.
