You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Additional terms

Delivery UK deliveries: All deliveries are sent Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for unless the customer requests 1st class or special delivery for a rushed order. The customer is responsible for the postage costs. Overseas deliveries: We use the Royal Mail/British Post Office to ship our items. Because overseas postage can be expensive we will give you a clear price for postage both with and without tracking before you make your final decision. If you choose to take a ‘without tracking’ option you should be aware that we will be less likely to recover items lost in transit. Items lost or damaged in transit: STC will always do our best to replace any items that might be lost or damaged in transit. In the case of ‘One of a kind’ items and ‘customized orders’ that are impossible to recreate this will, obviously, not be possible. If this occurs, we will offer you the choice of credit, a refund or another item of the same value. Damaged goods must be returned to STC before a refund will be made. STC will refund the postage costs for the return of damaged goods. Please be aware all of our items are individually hand-crafted and take time to make. Although, we post them as soon as they are finished, the project itself may take many, many hours. It will be worth the wait but if you would like an update on progress at anytime feel free to contact us. If you have a specific, important deadline please let us know before paying any deposit. If we cannot make your schedule we will let you know so you can choose not to order. Refund When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are agreed to be faulty or mis-described. In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the unused goods in perfect condition and well packaged to STC's address. The customer will be responsible for the cost of postage but the full price of the item(s) ordered will be returned after STC receive the goods. The exception to this policy is in the case of customised and personalised items for which we cannot offer a cancellation or refund of the deposit so please CHECK ALL DETAILS VERY CAREFULLY and if you are unsure we have it right PLEASE CONTACT TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS. We are always happy to help. Materials and safety If we are making an item to your specifications we will discuss your preferences for materials but STC will have the final decision about the appropriate materials for each project. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform STC of any particular materials they would like to be avoided. For example, in the case of allergy to wool or the need for an easy to wash fabric. Toys will always be made from acrylic yarn or cotton chosen by STC to conform to safety standards. All designs playthings are safety tested and individual toys are marked appropriately. Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
