Full description

Yes this is the poster girl for the 2013 Tate Britain blockbuster exhibition 'Victorian Avant Garde', Jane Morris posing as the Goddess. It's a powerful image of woman reflecting the enormous stature Jane held in the artist's later life as muse and love. The unrequited nature of the relationship adds intensity and poignancy to the emotion illustrated. The reverse shows a detail from the same work under frosted glass. Found image under glass. Set on a beaded chain of deep green handmade mosaic beads specially selected, with another as a drop. Comes to you in an organza bag. I always use Special Delivery for the insurance cover for both buyer and seller. Thanks for looking and for supporting handmade!
