I found an old pattern for a striped kitten among my Mum's 'vintage' knitting patterns, (I suspect I had one of these as a child!). I knitted one for our charity knitting group & decided to adapt it to make rabbits as well. This one is knitted in gorgeous random coloured sock yarn on smaller needles. The booties are my addition so that bunny feels coordinated!

Your favourite little person can accessorise his or her bunny friend with a matching pair of booties with this hand knitted set.
Both are knitted in gorgeous variegated cotton mix sock yarn and the bunny is stuffed with hypoallergenic toy stuffing, so both are very soft and washable at low temperatures.
The booties will fit a baby from birth to 6 months and the sole measures 4 inches, they are tied with satin ribbon so will stay in place if a bit big to start with. The bunny stands 11 inches not including his ears and has a matching neck ribbon.
This pair would make a lovely Easter or Christmas gift if you're like me and don't want to give too many chocolate eggs & sweeties, but bunnies aren't just for Easter!
