My inspiration for making this Brooch was to try and capture the delicate features of the flower, while being durable to everyday wear and tear. I love intricate detail and as with all my Designs I wanted to create a " one off " piece of Artwork.
The first day of March was chosen in remembrance of the death of Saint David, who is the patron Saint of Wales. On this Day, Wales and those of Welsh origin celebrate the life of their patron Saint and the Welsh culture. Many people pin a daffodil to their clothes in Remembrance.
This unique piece of Artwork, is a beautiful delicate and feminine Brooch, that would make the owner stand out in a crowd.
It would make a Unique Gift to mark any occasion or celebration and will perhaps become an Antique of the Future........

You are looking at a variation of one, of my most popular Design, inspired by my visits to Wales in Spring ----
The Large DAFFODIL PIN....... Lapel Flower Pin
Each piece of Jewellery I make is Individually Designed, Handmade and Hand Painted. No moulds are used. Each Item is totally Unique. The material used is a very refined modelling Clay-- A Porcelain substitute. It fires a lot stronger than Porcelain, so intricate & fine detail can be used without it becoming too fragile! It also fires very light...... so size is not restricted to a small sculpture & large Designs can be produced!
Exquisite, realistic detail, beautifully painted. NOTE- this brooch looks stunning on black or even Red !
Silver Plated Stick Pin. Approximate size 5.5 cm (2 inches ).... Washable.
Supplied in a presentation box.
Approximate size 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) across and 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) down.
This will look lovely on a lapel of a jacket, scarf,dress and even on a hat
