Full description
This flower brooch with blue cabochon is handmade from lead -free pewter.
I draw my design on to the pewter which I then raise and define using a boxwood tool. The next stage is mounting the stone ( it is not stuck on top but set in ) . The raised design is then filled left to harden and mounted on to a base and patinated and finally polished. This pewter does not tarnish like silver but can be buffed up if necessary with a silver cloth or wadding.
The brooch measures 60mm x 37mm and has a 25mm safety clasp on the back
