Full description
Two hand thrown espresso cups with saucers glazed in smokey blue. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
My boyfriend is loyal coffee drinker, he often tells me 'it is by caffeine alone my mind is set in motion!' With these two espresso cups you can feel the morning buzz of rich black coffee delicately sipped or enthusiastically slurped.
Each one was hand thrown on my potters wheel from British white stoneware clay. They feature fluted sides, a gently rounded drinking edge and sturdy pulled handle to support the weight of the cup when filled.
Throwing rings remain on each piece giving a gentle texture where my hands have drawn the clay upwards. The set also comes with two matching saucers, each one is gently curled to rest your spoon upon or have a sneaky biscuit!
Each piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Cup one is 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter and 2.12 inches (7.80 cm) in height
- Cup two is 3 inches in diameter and 2.12 inches in height
- Saucer one is 5.12 inches (14.5 cm) in diameter and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height
- Saucer two is 5.14 inches (15 cm) in diameter and 1 inch in height
As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
