Full description
Round bellied lidded storage jar glazed in simply clay. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
I created this pottery canister by hand throwing it from durable white stoneware clay on my potters wheel. Its the ideal size for storing dry goods like sugar, flour or even the odd sneaky biscuit.
A transparent gloss decorates the inside and outside of this piece with its high shine to the touch. Gentle throwing rings remain where my hands have pulled the clay upwards giving both a textural and visual detail.
A domed lid with decorative knob sits on top of the canister finishing this off as a unique piece of kitchen decor. It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your countertop and I've hand stamped it with the Little Wren Pottery seal showing its origin as a piece of handmade pottery.
The jar is 6.6 inches (17 cm) in diameter and 5.7 inches (14.5 cm) in height without the lid.
As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
I post out all my items Royal Mail first class parcel post which can take 1 - 2 days or standard airmail for international orders which takes 5 days.
