Full description
Two straight sided mugs hand thrown stoneware in natural brown and pepper. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
I love a good cup of tea and there's nothing more comforting that cozying up for an evening brew after a long hard day's work. Each of these mugs comfortably holds 500ml of tea!
I created these mugs by hand throwing them from durable white stoneware clay on my potters wheel. They feature a straight shape, a rounded rim and throwing rings remain on the inside and outside where my hands have pulled the clay upwards. A strong pulled handle has been attached to the outside of the mug which will support the weight of the cup when filled with hot water.
Pepper yellow decorates the outside of one mug and Natural brown the other to create a contrast of gloss and satin textures. Their flat bottoms have been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery seal marking them out as handmade mugs.
These mugs can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
