To me this piece is reminiscent of a seed pod.
I have oxidised this piece and then polished the surface which gives the pin depth I think.

Full description
This pin measures approx 5cms in length and 1cm at its widest part and weighs 3 grams with the end cap.
It has been hand made from Sterling Silver using hand tools traditional methods and is finished with a pre bought Sterling Silver cap which secures the piece in place.
This piece could be worn as a Brooch/ Hat Pin or Tie Pin.
