Full description
Wire wrapped picasso jasper earrings. The oval beads of this semiprecious stone has wonderful shades of terracotta, burnt umber and olive green. The shining copper frames creates a wonderful contrast to the matte surface of the beads and sets off the beautiful colours.
I've wrapped them in copper wire - herringbone style and then oxidized and polished them to give a deep, rich, worn look.
Herringbone weave has been popular for centuries and give these earrings a wonderful earthy Viking feel.
Perfect autumn colours in a rustic style. The beads are natural jasper and will vary in patterns and colour. Have a look at the last picture to see the fantastic variety.
