Full description
Pottery colander berry bowl wheel thrown and glazed in brilliant white. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
This berry bowl colander was handmade from white Devonshire stoneware clay. It's ideal for washing fruits in and the glossy white glaze would contrast well with the bright reds of strawberries in summer.
The piece was turned and finished when leather hard, each of the holes being cut and finished individually by hand. The holes have been cut into a starburst pattern with a large hole in the center and others arranged out from the middle. You can still see soft throwing rings where my hands have drawn the pot upwards and a simple glossy white glaze decorates the inside and outside.
This piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
I post out all my items Royal Mail first class parcel post which can take 1 - 2 days or standard airmail for international orders which takes 5 days.
