WELCOME to Isobel Robinson (formerly Lillibets Millinery) on Folksy. I'm delighted to be featured alongside the talented artisan makers of the UK and hope you enjoy browsing my designs.
Each of my creations has been designed and made by myself at my home studio in Riddlesden in West Yorkshire. Overlooking the rolling hills and rugged moorland of Bronte Country, I continue to be inspired by the beautiful surroundings, dotted with the remnants of industrial heritage of bygone eras.
My shop combines my passion for two mediums - millinery and jewellery. I love to create wearable fashion accessories that enhance your self-confidence and define your individual style. The perfect match?
Looking for the perfect finishing to your outfit but not sure of the colour? I'm happy to send a small sample of any colour you've seen, or if you can't see the right colour just ask - there are over 70 colours available so I'm sure we'll find the one you need. I can make all of the felt cocktail hats in any colour, so be sure to browse my other items and get in touch for a custom order.
Delivery:
Your hat will be sent to you within 3 working days by RM special delivery in the UK or airsure (tracked) for overseas buyers. Delivery worldwide is usually 1-2 weeks but in some cases can be longer. Unfortunately at this time I cannot find a faster guaranteed service for less than £50.
Returns/Exchanges:
I hope you love your hat, but if for any reason you are unhappy with the item I will accept exchanges or returns within 7 days (postage is non-refundable). Returned items must be in the original packing and be unworn.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A beautiful cocktail hat with handmade felt peony flower. Shown here in cream, it would perfectly compliment your vintage wedding. The petite (medium) size looks fabulous with a bridal updo and can be customised with veiling (netting) on request.

The hat measures 14cm across (medium size), but can be made in the larger (17cm) size on request (£58). Both are designed to be worn to one side of the head, but the large hat will cover from the front to back of your head, where as the medium cocktail hats (roughly saucer size) are smaller for those who prefer more of a petite headpiece.
Finish:
Your hat is customised with your preference of fastening - elastic or headband. The elastic sits around the back of your head and can be hidden by your hair. If you have fine hair you may prefer a headband, in which case you will need to decide which side of the head you will wear it on - your left or right. Most designers opt to have the hat covering the parting, to best show off your glorious 'do'.
Upon ordering, please leave a note with your choice of fastening (black/ivory headband or beige/black elastic) and which side of the head you will wear it on (your left/right).
