Full description
The pieces in this collection are a light and open form ,combining the style of Arts and crafts with the trademark hammer finish and the strong lines of an open rose .
These wire hand formed bracelets are made in two sections , a heavy formed round wire band with forged connections attaching to a curved rose front .
They are made from sections of wire which have been shaped and then soldered together with multiple joints ,the rose is then hammered flat, annealed and then attached to the formed wire. The piece is formed around a mandrel and given an a hammer finish.The hammer finish gives a lovely textured finish which reflects the light and gives these pieces a slightly rustic look, the piece is finished by refining and polishing.
I am happy to make these bracelets to order and can be made in Bronze or Sterling silver.
This bracelet is constructed from 2 mm and 1.5 mm Bronze round wire.
This piece is approximately 16 cm in total circumference, the opening rose front measures approximately 6.5 cm.
