The basic penguin comes from an old knitting pattern from Woman's weekly that I inherited from my Mum, I knitted lots of these these back in the 70s and have knitted penguins for Christmas, but decided to let them out in Spring for a change with non-Christmassy embellishments.

Full description
As you can see, the Emperor is in the all together apart from his bow tie (a lovely shade of green), that he chose to wear with his 'new clothes'.
He stands about 11 cm high and is knitted in acrylic yarn and stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing so can be washed on a gentle cycle.
