Full description
This trio of delicate, small wooden mushrooms is made from English yew and English box. They range from 10 cm., 8 cm., to 4.5 cm. high and approximately 2 cm in diameter. The two yew fungi have a wide variety of colours and textures in them-from the dark brown bark, the small almost black branch ends, cream tones of the sap wood, and deep rose of the heart timber. Box is an extremely slow growing plant, and the density and smooth texture it has comes as a result. It is very smooth to the touch, and has many shades in it as well, this mushroom looking different from every angle. We hand make each example of our work, ensuring every one is unique.
