Banana yarn is also known as banana silk, it is not silk but certainly feels like it. It is made from the banana plant . It is a very strong natural product and has a slight sheen. It is a fantastic yarn for weaving, knitting, crocheting, wall hangings, amongst many more fibre art projects. You really can let your imagination go wild, you just need to feel this unique yarn.
These skeins have been handspun by women's collectives in India using traditional techniques. Banana silk yarn is a vegan friendly ethically produced art yarn, unique and inspirational.
