Full description
We have made this elegant pendant from the neck of an old bottle which we found on the beach. We took a slice of the bottle neck and tumbled it until was perfectly rounded and smooth. The bottleneck is from a very wide bottle, such as an old cream pot. We have hung a beautiful heart shaped bead in the middle of the ring. The bead has a unique pattern of black stripes on a clear glass background. It is shiny in the middle and frosted around the edges, so it goes perfectly with the frosted glass of the bottle neck ring.
The pendant ring is 4.5. cm across and 5 mm thick. It comes on a 50 cm (approx. 20 inches) fine silver plate trace chain. If you would prefer a shorter or longer chain (up to 90 cm) please let us know the length you would like.
Our jewellery is made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of the charm of beach glass jewellery. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The pendant will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
