Full description
A stained glass Tea-light or candle holder featuring a butterfly in lilac with pink glue chip glass set in pale green English Muffle glass. I have used pastel shades to compliment the delicate nature of the butterfly. When positioned with light behind it or lit up with a tea-light at night the butterfly comes to life and the textures of the glass shimmer in the candle light.
The Candle Holder is entirely hand-crafted using the Tiffany method of stained glass making. Each piece of glass is individually cut and the edges of the glass wrapped in copper foil tape. The pieces are soldered together achieving a smooth rounded solder bead and the cube is formed. The finished piece is then polished by hand.
Dimensions: 9cm x 9cm x 8cm high.
