I made a really huge jolly Robin door stop for my daughter for Christmas & this little chap is simply a scaled down (and more manageable!) version. I have based the shape on the cotton beach balls my sister & I used to make as youngsters.

Full description
This fat jolly robin will brighten up your home while being useful by sitting in front of your door to keep it open. He also makes a great ornament in the event of the door needing to be shut!
Each Robin is part machine sewn and finished by hand. With all the bird doorstops, the outer ‘feathers’ are felt which has been laid over an inner cotton skin which contains the main stuffing and weight. The weight is approx 1.2KG of clean pea gravel inside a bag (enough weight for most internal doors), The stuffing in the inner skin is a mix of shredded cotton for bulk enclosed in regular hypoallergenic toy stuffing. Because each bird is hand made, there will be some differences in size, so where I have sewn the felt outer layer slightly larger, there will be some toy stuffing between the felt and the cotton skin to keep the little chaps firm.
The Robin stands approximately 19cm tall & is 30cm from tail to tip of beak.
The door stops will be sent to you inside a plastic bag to keep them clean, please release the poor things as soon as possible!
