I have always loved the colour combination of blue and white together and wanted to make a larger item with these colours. I only had the three shades of blue available. I did not have enough of the dark blue and the white to make the stripes all the same size so came up with this design of colours in different widths. I had never made a blanket with diagonal stripes before and wanted to try something a bit different. The result is this wonderful diagonal corner to corner blanket.

Full description
A hand, crochet Blanket, afghan or throw in blues and white. The blanket use’s 100% soft Acrylic yarns which makes a warm and soft blanket to wrap up in. The central stripe of the blanket is white with a dark blue stripe either side of it. The same dark blue is found on the opposite two corners of the blanket. The stripes are of different widths according to their colour. The Stripes are arranged diagonally across the blanket rather than horizontal or vertical.
Approximate size 36inches (91.5cm) by 36 inches (91.5cm)
This blanket is machine washable up to 40%. I would advise when drying to lay it flat to help maintain the blankets shape.
