There's something very luxurious and special about a leather journal - nothing else feels quite like it. The leather used for the cover of this book is of very high quality and has been vegetable-tanned and dyed, giving a really beautiful finish. You just want to hold it and stroke it, it's so lovely.
The beautiful Baroque-style design of the lining paper makes this even more special.
I wanted to produce a book that would make its owner feel very special and, which would be suitable for a man or a woman.

A beautiful journal, covered in rich green leather and hand bound with care.
The cover is high quality leather, in deep forest green with a natural-grained finish. It will last well and won't stretch or sag. The leather is lined with a crisp patterned paper in green, ivory and grey. The design has a French Baroque feel to it.
The book fastens with a leather strip and a metal snap-fastener, which is attached at the spine and has a decorative black and silver glass bead.
The strap has an integral pen-holder, so you can slot a pen into the side of your book and have it handy when you need it.
It is bound in contrasting ivory linen thread, in a traditional Chapbook style - ie. the pages are all in one section, folded and bound into the cover.
The book contains 40 pages (80 sides) of crisp, cream paper with a laid finish and hand-cut edges. This paper is also a very high quality and will take all dry media - pen, pencil etc.
A great notebook, to carry in your pocket, work bag or laptop case. Or perhaps you might like to use it to keep a journal. Or as a sketch or poem book, or a planner for a special occasion.
Ideal perhaps for an unusual and beautiful gift for a birthday or anniversary?
This book measures 8.75 inches high (22cm) and 5.75 inches across (14.5cm). Pages are slightly smaller.
Packing and Postage to UK addresses are included in the price. A reasonable amount is added for postage to other locations in the world.
