The Green man is often depicted as a stern and sometimes rather scary creature. I was asked by a customer for a more gentle looking character.
This one is now sold but I can make a similar one specially for you.

Full description
Green Man wall art plaque made from English pewter. The bas relief design in in the pewter is worked from alternative sides with metal repousse tools until l achieve a raised design. This is an original art work and takes many hours of meticulous hand work.

'Repoussé or repoussage refer to a metalworking technique in which a malleable metal is shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief. Chasing, chased work, or embossing refer to a similar technique, in which the piece is hammered on the front side, sinking the metal. Wikipedia
