I wanted to create the same effect as weaving with hand-framed knitting using an inlay yarn. This has been achieved by a pretty complicated technique!

Full description
Here is a beautiful soft cotton and wool scarf. The colour is aquamarine blue with lilac stripes as a soft cotton background.
There is an added hand-woven inlay of a thicker pure wool yarn, in a variegated dark sea green with hints of mauve and turquoise. The scarf at the bottom and top are finished in a rib-knit without fringes.
This is from my unique, limited edition line of wraps/scarves, and is called ‘Sea Breeze’.
This was designed and created at LS Textiles Studio in Dorset, UK.
