I've always loved embroidery, I was taught by my grandmother starting with the traditional lazy daisy ... it's really enjoyable to re-create this Swedish sleigh cushion design.

An unusual handmade design inspired by a gift from a friend - a book from the excellent Dover series on "The Decorative Arts of Sweden" provided the theme for this cosy bag. Wool felt applique and wool embroidery embellish this woolen blanket bag with cotton gingham lining. I like the warm red and her high heels are such fun. The French Knitting tube handles are re-inforced, and the bag closes with a woolen hadnmade button and French Knitting loop. Please contact me regarding multiple or non-UK postage as rates vary, thank you. All of the postal charges quoted are for Special Delivery, tracked and insured covering buyer and seller, I do not add any charges for packing, for which I use recycled bags.
