Full description
A pewter pencil block with 6 small and 4 large holes in,measuring 3 3/4" long x 1 3/4" deep x 1 3/4" high.
I have drawn my picture on to the pewter which I then raise and define using a boxwood tool to stretch and mould the image. The design is then filled and mounted onto a base. Once on the base the background of the picture is worked further to give a hammered/ beaten effect then patinated and finally polished . This pewter does not tarnish like silver but can be buffed up if necessary with a silver cloth or silver wadding. I have put some felt on the base to protect surfaces. I have one of these in my studio which I use for paintbrushes.
