I have in the past made Christmas Humbug decorations but always in Cross Stitch. After creating a ‘How To’ for a Craft Forum I wondered if they could be made in a different medium. After sitting with pencil and graph paper and being inspired by Fair Isle knitting I came up with these little beauties.

A trio of red and white hand knitted Christmas Decorations. These colourful decorations are called humbugs after those striped humbugs sweets of old. Each one is knitted in the Fair Isle tradition and hand sewn together. They are nicely decorated with white and red beads, each single bead has been individually hand sewn onto the Christmas Humbug. The little hanging loops comprising of red and white beads complete these decoration. They would grace anyone's Christmas tree.
The humbugs are filled with hypo allergic polyester hollow fibres and This filling complies with the Furniture and Furnishing (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988.
The approximate size of each humbug is 3inches (7.7cm) by 3inches (7.7cms).
