Full description
Dreamcatchers made with beach glass look fabulous in many kinds of light, as this one does. The thick pieces of tumbled beach glass both reflect and diffuse light, so the dreamcatcher always looks interesting. We have used white glass with red glass beads to give this piece contrast and colour. Pictures 2 - 5 show various views of the dreamcatcher, so it is possible to see how it looks in various surroundings and how three-dimensional the glass pieces are.
The dreamcatcher is based on a 6 inch (approx. 15 cm) brass ring. It comes with a length of fine cord for hanging.
Our dreamcatchers are made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each dreamcatcher is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of the charm of beach glass decorations. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The dreamcatcher will be sent by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
