This is a hand-pressed linocut print entitled 'Sheffield City View No.3' printed in dark blue.
Eighth in my series of Sheffield views (actually my third 'City View'). This is a view of some buildings looking from Arundel Gate up Charles Street / Norfolk Street in the town centre. I've passed this view many times on foot and on the bus, and have always been fascinated by the way that the architecture from different periods sit next to one another.
Dark blue ink on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 100, signed, titled and numbered.
The print image measures H21xW14.8cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
