Handmade stoneware teapot in natural brown. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
Tea, sweet nectar of life! It's my pick me up drink of choice, when its time for a break its time for tea. A good teapot makes your brew taste just so much better giving room for the teabag to work it's magic inside the pot.
This teapot was hand thrown on my potters wheel in three parts with durable white stoneware clay. First I made the body of the teapot with it's distinctive tall shape ideal for brewing, then the high pointed spout for providing a steady flow, and finally the deep inset lid.
When all the pieces were firm enough I attached them together along with a sturdy pulled handle. The teapot is glazed in natural brown which has mingling tones of soft browns and creams, it has a satin finish to the touch.
It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your kitchen counter and has been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery seal. This teapot will hold 900 ml of water
This teapot can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The teapot is 3.9 inches (10 cm) in diameter and 6.6 inches (17 cm) in height.
As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
I post out all my items Royal Mail first class parcel post which can take 1 - 2 days or standard airmail for international orders which takes 5 days.
