This scene is taken from the wall lantern in my garden. I witnessed the birds amongst the foliage feeding on insects. Unfortunately I was unable to capture this early morning scene on camera, so decided to create my own. The birds are hand-painted and the other elements are photographic and created in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Full description
A woven oval of blue clematis, roses and leaves frame a turquoise cork patterned lantern. The wall behind and around is of soft grey patterned tiles. Early morning garden birds nestle in the foliage to bring in the "dawn chorus".
Printed on quality water-colour Bockingford paper.
