These cuff links are made from rare English sixpences. The cufflinks will show heads up, let me know if you would prefer tail side up. Please let me know at checkout if you would like a particular year (1947-1951, 1953-1966, other dates may also be available).
The sixpence has been used as a lucky coin symbolising wealth, prosperity and happiness and features in the rhyme 'Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe'.
