Full description
Handmade pottery storage bottle with pouring lip. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
This ceramic jug was handmade from white Devonshire stoneware clay. Its distinctive bottle shape was created by working with my potters wheel, compressing the surface using a throwing rib has given the piece a smooth finish to the touch.
Glazed in natural brown this gives the piece a woody look and statin finish ideal for the rustic kitchen. A portion remains unglazed so you can feel the sandy texture of natural clay. The narrow opening was delicately created by collaring the clay as it was being thrown, there's also a small lip to provide a steady flow.
Ideal for serving milk or cream to your guests at tea time!
This bottle has a flat bottom to sit flush on your kitchen counter and I've hand stamped it with the Little Wren Pottery seal showing its origin as a piece of handmade kitchenware.
This piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The bottle has a height of 4.9 inches (12.5 cm) and 3.2 inches (8.3 cm) in diameter across the bottom.
It has been created in a smoke free, pet free home.
