Although I usually knit piglets, I wanted to make something a little more special and unusual for Easter. This is my own design and is hand knitted for those mums who, like me, try to minimise the number of sweets and chocolates their little ones receive at Easter – and he lasts longer & doesn’t leave sticky finger prints on the walls!

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Well Cheggy is both; he’s both chicken and egg! He’ll make a lovely Easter gift for anyone who wants an egg and is watching their waistline – calorie and guilt free, this softy egg will sit happily on a bookshelf or on top of the telly to make your Easter eggstra special and unlike Humpty, he won't break if he falls. Cheggy is 8 cm tall when seated and 6 cm wide, his legs are 9cm from hip to toe, he has no sharp edges or glue, everything is stitched by hand.
