Ive been pursuing a theme based on the tree and the moon for years and have rolled it out to include the sun and different seasons (and times of day) and all manner of variations with regards to the type of tile. It's an image which for whatever reason is very close to me and I continually attempt to recreate what I see in my mind as a mosaic. I hope it reflects it in someway.

A golden harvest moon sits against a jet black ceramic tile night with the tree multi coloured and dancing like a harlequin to the tune of the moon and stars
I made it with a mixture of ceramic, glass and gold backed glass tiles, with small circular dots of golden glass acting as the stars. The tree has many vibrant pinks and blues with deep rich reds and browns streaked throughout. The background is jet black with ceramic tiles and black grout.
It measures 20.2cm x 25.4cm (or 10 x 8 inches) framed and ready to hang onto someones wall.
