If you enjoy sewing why not try making your own Lilly*Blossom Ragdoll with my easy to follow, fully illustrated PDF sewing pattern. The PDF pattern has full-sized printable pattern pieces to show you how to make a ragdoll, dress, shoes and bag.
You can create an heirloom using vintage fabric, the perfect handmade gift for someone special.
This sewing pattern is suitable for a anyone who has experience of using a sewing machine and following sewing patterns, I would class this as 'intermediate' The guide has lots of close-up photographs showing you every step of the way, making it easy to follow.
The PDF shows you how to cut out your fabric using the full size templates. How to sew and stuff the doll and create her raggy hair (the most fun part!) Full instructions are included for making her pretty dress with optional lace hem, gathered sleeves and lined bodice. You will also learn how to make her a matching bag and shoes from felt scraps and ribbons.
Materials needed for one Ragdoll:
• Approximately 110cms x 1m wide cotton sheeting (44” x 39”) perfect for recycling.
• Permanent ink fine nib pens in black & red (or embroidery thread if you prefer)
• Polyester soft toy stuffing 200g (8oz)
• Matching thread
• Paper or card for printing pattern pieces.
Plus scraps of felt, ribbon and cord for shoes and bag. Some small poppers (press studs) and ½m/yrd of cotton fabric for the dress.
You will also need some basic sewing equipment such as pins, scissors, fabric marker or pencil, iron and sewing machine.
The pattern will be emailed within 24hours(usually sooner as I check throughout the day). It will be sent in PDF format to the email address linked to your account.
I will soon be listing other PDF guides to show you how to make alternative outfits for her so keep an eye out for more. In the group photograph you can just see the blue floral pyjama's that I am working on now, they will be listed as a 'bedtime' outfit with dressing gown and slippers.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my pattern, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
