I find the history of games fascinating and there are so many simple pastimes to be rediscovered amongst them. I have run many popular school workshops recreating such historical treasures; this concept of an interchangeable landscape and stories that can be made from it is especially appealing to children. So now I have adapted it for home printing and enjoyment.
One of my reviews;

Full description
Colour some cards to make story puzzles with hundreds of variations! Great for imaginative play or storytelling as well as colouring.
The coloured sheets are then cut into eight interchangeable cards which can be put together like a puzzle; and rearranged into thousands of different scenes!
The PDF contains three worksheets (for different ability levels), an instruction sheet and a separate background information page on the history of this vintage game. (It prints in economical monochrome on A4 paper.)
Fascinating fun for all age groups, (and I’m including grown-ups here). I have used similar sheets with hundreds of children and they are always well received, with lots of focused engagement. The only problem children ever have with them is keeping the adults off their artwork!
Included are instructions for creating the puzzle, with blank versions for keen artists. For those who prefer to colour in some pre-drawn versions, there are my simple fairy story images, and an underground tunnels version with treasures -or worms!
I’ve also included a bonus sheet covered in images stamped from my vintage toy stamp sets. These sweet images are appealing even used on their own; you can print, colour, cut and glue them onto the cards (or any artwork). I’ve found these just the right scale to be a big help for encouraging uncertain artists, so they then start adding their own little drawings on the cards.
